Have you ever needed to pawn something? I pawned something that I knew I would not go back to get. i needed that cash and it was all I could find. It was not missed at all which was ok. I am glad I don't need one now. I would have nothing to pawn.

I used to at times, and there were times years ago I'd buy my CDs there or maybe a small tv, but since the dawn of the internet, and amazon, stuff has gone down in value. Havent been to a pawn shop in years

@librarygeek1980 No to mention the rent that the store would charge.

the father of my son pawned a gold ring that i gave him as a birthday gift when we were together in Kuwait. he left me the receipt of the ring. i redeemed the ring back when he (father of son) left us after i 'shooed' him away from our house.

My daughter and grandson have pawned things before. They also buy things from one here. Video games and game equipment. I bought a bike from one one time. I don't have anything to pawn either.

@celticeagle I have stuff that I use every day. I don't like extra of other stuff like collections.

When my kids were you and my ex and I were starting out we pawned a few things that we could never afford to get back.

I usually don't like to pawn .But once I was great need of money due to some land clearing issues. I pawned my jewel for money.

Yes. One time I pawned my gold necklace but wasn't able to get it back again cuz the deadline had slipped away from my mind. My bad. Lesson learned.

I had some silver necklaces that I found in the trash at the flea market. They were in an envelope wrapped in tissue paper/. So I knew they had to be real silver and they were. I just happen to look in the trash can and they were on top. I took them to a pawn shop and got $300 for them.

so when you pawn something and you can't buy it back, it's theirs and they can resell it?
