The First Sunrise of March

The month of February ended with a heavy rain that lasted all the day.
We had to go out early this morning and I was ready for another rainy day.
Imagine my surprise when I opened the blinds and I saw this beautiful sky with the first sunrise of March.
The temperature is still fresh with a light wind from the north, but the day is beautiful.
March can be a nice month, but we can still expect the snow. It's too early to say that winter is leaving.
How is this first day of March where you live?
Another 18 days and then it's Spring!

Today it is going to be 87 degrees 30.55C which is warmer than I prefer.

I agree, spring officially arrives this month, but spring can still hold cooler temperatures and sometimes that awful white stuff, better known as snow. Ugh.
But nobody wants to think about that.
We had a lot of rain over night last night, with strong thunderstorms.

Oh my, that was lovely, I just love that reddish color of the clouds and the sky painted by the sun background by that small branches... really amazing photo.

@ilocosboy Sunsets are also beautiful, we see the sunrise from our dining room, while we have to go out to see the sunset.

@LadyDuck I love in west part of my country and so what I can have most is the sunset. What do I love about sunset, its the silhouette of the dawn, it is the most poetic part of the day.

30 is a wonderful age, my birthday has been the last 24th of February, I would have loved to turn 30.

Nice picture by you. 
Winter has almost ended in New Delhi and it is spring here, which will soon be followed by summer season. In the months of February and March, we see variety of flowers because it is the best season.

@dpk262006 We still have four seasons here, Spring starts the 21st of March and it lasts until June 20th. Usually the very hot weather only starts in July.

What a beautiful picture. Our sunrise was similar. Calling for strong thunderstorms late this afternoon and evening. The forecast reads like it is summertime, not the last few weeks of winter. Suppose to be in the upper 70's F. Definitely may set a record high for the day if it does get up that warm. Enjoy your day.
