Eldorado Cryptocurrency do you know it?

This is something crazy that I came across yesterday. I found a cryptocurrency called Eldorado that claims to be backed by gold. The amount for price is higher than bitcoin right now! You can buy it with bitcoin and exchange it for gold which they will send to you by mail. Has any one heard of it before? I can't find much out about it except just what I stated. I can't find even any program to mine the stuff. I would not trust this because right now the only way to get it that I can find is to buy it. At least there are free ways to get bitcoin including surveys sites, ptc sites, and other ways which don't include investment. It would suck to purchase enough to get a bar of gold, try to "trade it in" and you're jacked. If you have heard of it though please do share.

This smells like a scam, Eldorado is an imaginary city that has never been found. I suppose that this could be "imaginary" gold. I would stay away from this, I am pretty sure it's a scam.

I agree. It sounds like a scam to me and I hope people won't fall into it but you never know with some people what they will believe.

I love money too but I still like to be smart about it. I see your are from Switzerland which reminded me I also saw a cryptocurrency coming out from there the other day. So many of them now.

@jhechorain I know, people believe everything if they think they can make money.

Have heard of Bitcoin but not that one. You are right what you say. I would not buy anything like that at all.

That is just not a smart idea to try for investment. Most people should know that is not a smart choice to try it. Especially there is nothing out there for information about it.

@jhechorain But someone might risk it. But I would certainly not even if I were desperate. However I can understand it but would not do it no way.

Yeah me either, it sounds like recipe for disaster.

I've never heard of it. I would never actually buy any of those cryptocurrencies. I do get some bitcoin through faucets, but that's about it.

I take surveys on a couple sites for btc but I have never bought any. I would not buy this other one either, for sure.

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. The name alone would put me off - Eldorado is a supposedly fabulous city with untold riches - but did anybody ever find it? I think not.

Good point. Perhaps that should be the first tell for people.

@jhechorain, Eldorado is an interesting cryptocoin (said to backed by Gold). But there are so many alternative cryptocoins out there, most of them useless. So i will stick with Bitcoin for Now.
