This month I planned to save some spending money for myself.

I love to pay more on my bills that will help me the following month. I had a bill come in today for $14 I paid $45 today and that was out of money I planned to save for myself. But I have come to realized it's just going to go to someone or on a craving. I have some money I took out the bank just for my personal needs. I am hoping that I don't waste it on drinks n junk food. That would make me very upset for sure. If I find myself going to buy junk food then I am going to take it to the bank and put that money to another bill. I been reading up on saving and I never pay myself first. This was the first time I did that. So, it's a process for me. I am not sure I can make it a habit. But I don't mind this month. I did give my sister $ in an envelope to hold for me. She is very trustworthy so that is good.

it will take a while before you get used to paying yourself first. One thing you can do is to automate your savings so it is done and over without you being able to touch your money and having the possibility that you spend it on non-essentials.

I do that all the time. But after I am done with everything else I find a bill to pay extra on. But I will be giving my sister money each month to hold for me.

I dont know how you have so much money to give away. I have just enough to pay my bills and put a little away no more. I'd be laughing it I had that much spare money, I have a very limited budget on food.

I am a saver, I will hold onto my money, use coupons to get things cheap or free.
