Staycation Mode

I filed a five-day leave from work. I am not going anywhere but I just felt that I needed to take a break for a while. I stay home and do a lot of stuff which I have not been doing for quite a while. Though I have my elder sister staying with me and helping me a lot doing chores, there are some things that I should be taken cared of myself.
I will be reporting back to work this coming Tuesday. Good thing that I have done whatever I must before I filed a leave so there is no problem regarding going back. I could not say that I fully enjoy the staycation but it is still worth it.

A staycation can be wonderful. It is becoming more and more popular. Sometimes we get so busy we did not have time to get caught up on things. I am catching up here at mylot today and will be making a pancookie with my daughter and then trimming curtains to hang in her room. I have so much on my to do list but can only check off one or two things each week.

It is nice that you can take a break from work as needed. Sometimes we really do need a few days to catch up on other things.
