Donald Trump's Foot in Mouth Disease

"Talk, more mistakes; Less talk, less mistakes; No talk, no mistakes" Hoof and mouth disease or "Foot and mouth disease" is an infectious cloven-hoofed animal disease that is sometimes fatal. Putting one's "Foot in mouth" is a motormouth (mouth moves faster than brain) disease which I suspect Trump is inflicted with. These occur when a person say something foolish or tactless. For a sitting US president, that could prove fatal to the American people. Which is why some people say Trump often "talks out of his ass" .... because his foot is in his mouth. Image: flickr CC

That old adage says, "Better to be silent and though to be a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Or, as the Bible put it, "The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly" (Proverbs 15:2).

@FourWalls _I don't think Trump reads the Bible. His reading aptitude only covers 140- character limit tweets.

@josie_ Your expert knowledge of the Bible and your unblemished judgment of the President's character will help make America great again. Good luck! :-)

Yeah, Twitter and Facebook need to ban his accounts so he can actually focus on being President.

@crossbones27 _ I think he is more "focus" on his golf swing seeing that he spend more time in the Mar-a-lago golf course than the Oval office.

Some people have not yet understood that things should go as follow: 1 - think 2 - think again 3 - if really necessary "speak". Go to play your golf and forget about social media Donald.

@josie_ He already divorced twice, when he thinks she is TOO OLD for him, he will get a new one.

@LadyDuck _His age would be a handicap, He would find it hard to make par much less birdies. More likely double bogeys. Maybe that's why he goes to Mar-a-lago often to practice his down swing and putt.

@LadyDuck _Easier for Trump to divorce his wives than to be deprived of his tweets.

Trump is a fool and a dangerous man to US democracy. His tweets are his biggest problem.

at least he aint afraid to say what hes thinking or worried that it might piss people off. america has always wanted a president that spoke his mind with no censorship and open about it. well, guess what america, deal with it.

@josie_ - its a new era for presidential decorum. the good thing about him and the way he acts is that the other countries who dont like the u.s. cant really predict what hes going to do. he breaks the mold. they have to rely on what he does, not what he necessarily says.

@Plethos _ Foreign countries both allies and adversaries would already have a profile analysis of Trump. Not only his political leanings but also psychological insights into his personality. It wouldn't surprise me if base on his megalomania, narcism and paranoia they rank him next to North Korea's Kim Jong-un

@allknowing _Frankly I don't expect to see any change in Tramp's style of governance. He is what he is and any kind of spin from his PR advisers will only be window dressing. The guy is shallow and dishonest.

@jstory07 _One area where Trump can mitigate the damage is to get a White house staff to review his tweets before he sends them.

"He says what the rest of us are thinking." I'm sorry but I take offense at that. There's nothing that jerk has said that I've been thinking or would have wanted to say. He's vile and vulgar and those are probably his best features...

Some like Trump and other's don't but he is someone who will be hugging the world limelight for the next 3+ years. As the Chinese say, "We are living in interesting times".
