Exploring Lighthouses

Postcard and stamp collecting are my hobbies so to say, especially at the moment and how delightful a postbox can be on a Friday afternoon with a beautiful postcard of a US Lighthouse from a postcrossing friend. The postcard does not state where the Lighthouse is, but maybe one of my USA friends will be able to identify it. The sender is from an area called Port St Lucie on the coast of Florida, so that might just help a little in finding out what the Lighthouse name is. My hubby and I are keen lighthouse chasers and we are already booked to visit 14 NEW lighthouses along our own countries East Coast, ones we have not visited before. If you follow the tagged name of Lighthouse, you will see others we have seen and been to. Great excitement as our travels are ONE MONTH away! Graduation went well on Wednesday - such a wonderful decorum ceremony. Happy Friday - Kalispera to everyone as I missed the morning session!

I am still looking for postcards, I figure if I cant find any, once spring hits and things get pretty I may take some of my OWN photos and see about having cards made

I do not believe that this is the lighthouse of Port St Lucie in Florida, for what I remember it was very different, but I could not say where the photo was taken.

apparently it is the Cape Blanco Lighthouse on the Oregon Coast.

How nice will that be! Visiting lighthouses. I always thought I'd like to live on a lighthouse but maybe the wind and loneliness would get to me eventually.
