What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I know, music is a very broad subject in its categories and very branched in its subcategories... But surely you have your favorite types of music. 
So, mine are the songs with true lyrics and the instruments of outstanding presence. This I encounter with frequency in Country, Rock and R&B musics.
What about you, folks? When it comes to the type of music... What do you like to hear?

@AbbyGreenhill Yes, I rarely bother with Country. I do not mind the style of music, but all too often if someone cannot sing they will record country and let the song cover for them.

I have not confined myself to a particular genre so I get into my playlist whatever suits to my ears...like someone I come across songs like jolene by Dolly Parton anc another time I am going for songs like careless whisper by George Michael...But what i like the most is Rock mostly classic and folk...

Country, rock, some pop. I like songs from most all genres and some artist from most all genres. Blue grass , rap, and heavy metal are just genres I can't listen to. I don't care to listen to things that we going tonyepl at me, I don't know what they are saying or use very distasteful lyrics. I prefer songs from 2010 & below than I do newer music for all genres.

I am into 80s new wave/alternative/punk, 60s psychedelic, 70s hard rock and some heavy metal.
