The smell of breakfast

Roasted garlic in a pan.
Shallots and tomatoes being sauteed.
Fried rice.
Steamed rice.
Fried dried fish.
Coffee.
I went out with my bike early to buy something, then a "heavenly" smell gets into my nostrils.
Oh, breakfast.
Living in the province makes me smell more of what is being cooked around me, salty, savory, bitter, sweet and sour; yes, i can smell them or maybe it is my brain that assumed that they are because it has been registered every time I eat and somehow my tongue had made my brain memorized it.
Oh well, just heavenly breakfast smell around me, and loving it.

I also smell the food the neighbors are cooking. We just have hotdogs and corn soup for breakfast

@Lucky15 We grate the corn, fresh corns not canned corn kernels. We sautee it with onion and garlic and add shrimps and pork then water

I would love the roasted garlic and sauteed veggies,,,, I had a cut up banana, some granola topped with yogurt...Delicious but not as tasty as the aromas you described.

Some people feel like bringing up with the smell of food that early in the morning. But you are blessed and so am I and so enjoy that delicious whatever that is there
