How I Came to Be Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger

Huckleberry the Kitten

Meow from Huckleberry the Cat. I thought I’d fill you in on how I came to live with my mama and become a Kitty Blogger. My whole life, I’ve wanted to take up the pen. I just love playing with pens and pencils! It was not long after Guiness the Cat passed away, who was very influential in the Kitty Blogging world. I knew I had things to say, but I didn’t have a secretary and I didn’t know how to get them published. But a friend of my human was also a friend of Guiness the Cat, so he gave me a ride to Guiness the Cat’s mom’s house. So I rang the doorbell, walked in, and said, “Here I am!. Not really, but it sounds good. Actually, my human carried me in and handed me to my new human, who, of course, adopted me then and there. And then locked me in the bathroom while she went to buy kitten food. Mama gave me my first pencil, and it was so much fun to play with it. She gave me Guiness’s litter box and one of his catnip mousies, too. That’s me in the picture slaying the mouse on my first day in my new home. Well, dear Huckleberry - we're certainly glad you ended up with Guiness' mom, feel the need to take up the pen, joined myLot and are embarking on your writing career. You have mighty big shoes to fill but with your secretary's help and fellow feline guidance and support here on myLot, you should do very well. Luv, purrs, paws and high fives, Auntie Mildred the Cat.

Hey, Debi, nice to see you again. I almost think that my suggestion brought you back around, but that seems too silly, yet somewhat coincidental too. I see it looks like Mildred also said something recently too, on the side bar. I'll have to go take a peek. Welcome back if you're staying, good to see you if not.

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Well that's exciting. Do you have your own blog or what exactly. I may get back into doing more too at least these next three months as I'm home limbering up from knee surgery.

@MarshaMusselman I'm in the planning, learning, and set-up phase right now, but plans are to eventually start new blogs, update the old ones, expand my YouTube channels, and include a few sites like this.

He's a cute cat. Sorry for the loss of Guinness. I've been there last fall with my cat Marshall.

Meow and thank you from Huckleberry the Adorable. My mom misses Guiness a lot. Apparently, he was a very good kitty who liked to snuggle. I keep her busy in other ways, but I'm always a very well behaved cat when I'm asleep. Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat

Hope you will be just as famous as the Guiness the Cat. Why don't you read through all what Guiness the Cat produced so that you get an idea of what pleases us. I will shortly introduce Preiti to you. She is a well behaved dog. She likes your kind but normally takes a bit of time. She and another cat my neighbour's were great friends but that cat is no more.
Preiti takes a little bit of time to know the cats that visit our property. She then has a ball with htem.

So glad Guinness will have a successor. He was great, but you will bring a youthful perspective and probably be more energetic.

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Dear Hucks. I am currently sitting on my Human's feet so she cannot move. Have you tried that yet? You have to make every muscle relax so you are really heavy. I like the odd game of pencil soccer here, but we call it football. This makes no sense if you have paws. Love from Auntie Freya

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Dear Hucks, I think Humans are unevolved cats. They do have this problem with bits of them falling asleep. Ww cats know how to fully relax. I slept in a most comfortable bag in the wardrobe and found a whole lot of paper there I could tear up. It was such fun. Human 1 was quite sniffy about it though so I returned to the bed Love from Auntie Freya the Catblog Cat

Dear Auntie Freya, My mama can't remember what month it is. Whenever she is asked that on a survey, she has to check the computer. Mama says they ask that to make sure she's a human. Clearly she is. A cat would not have need to look that sort of thing up. Look after your human, and I will look after mine. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it, and if it's done right, I suppose it will be up to a cat. You know humans. Love, your Huckle-Boo PS - Pencils are really fun to play Kitty Soccer with!

Dear Miss Susan, Thank you very much. Yes, my mama is pretty nice most of the time. But she wants too many hugs. It's embarrassing. I'm a full grown boy kitty now, not a little kitten anymore. And yes, I am handsome. I know so because that's what the vet said, and she is a professional. Sincerely, Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger

So now I know there are more kitty bloggers out there. How can my Sophie become one? She is not going to another home to live in order to blog.
