Is it for real? I think so. Though not a recognized medical condition, seasonal changes can alter our mood and behavior. Spring is particularly light-hearted and research has shown that more babies are conceived during the spring months. Hmmm. The lengthening days and warmer weather surely boosts spirits. It improves energy and inspires dreams of happy days. Some scientists hypothesize that there is a chemical reaction that occurs in the body when there is more sunshine (something to do with serotonin and melatonin). I just know that I've got the fever and can't wait to get out in the garden and move along with my home improvement plans. How about you? Do you get Spring fever?
Never know how much I love you, Never know how much I care. When you put your arms around me, I get a fever that's so hard to bear. You give me fever, When y...

Yes, I believe the seasons do make a difference. I do know many people that live in areas that do not receive much sunlight in the winter suffer from the lack of vitamin D. Are you in the area that is going get (or has already gotten) hit with that big snowstorm?

No, it's mostly north of here. We may get a dusting in the mountains but that's it. A couple of cold days and back to the upper 60s and lower 70s again.

@suziecat7 That's good. Were only pushing 50ยบ here with lots of rain. I'm glad it's not snow. We got at least 60 inches this winter. And we had snow on the ground (not including the piles from plowing or shoveling) for something like 74 days.

I normally get Winter fever - I get motivated by gray and rainy weather - and luckily we had quite a few rainy days this year (finally!). But it is wonderful too that the Spring is here (in our case, it's more like Summer) . . . there is a lot to do for sure - feels like a new beginning kinda thing .

Certainly the weather has a great impact on our mood. It is cold here today - for us that is. :)
