Free agent quarterback Nick Foles has signed a two year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday. Foles who played quarterback for the Eagles from 2012-2014 will return to work as the backup quarterback to second year quarterback Carson Wentz during the 2017 regular football season. With Foles back with the Eagles for his second stint after he was released by the Kansas City Chiefs last week since they could not pay his salary for the 2017 football season. It is possible that the Eagles will be going to release or trade their third string quarterback Chase Daniel before the start of the 2017 football season since they are likely to go with two quarterbacks on their roster.

He is probably glad for a job in familiar surroundings.
