Running back Rex Burkhead signs a contract with the New England Patriots

Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rex Burkhead signed a contract with the defending Super Bowl champions the New England Patriots on Tuesday. The length and salary that Burkhead will be paid was not disclosed by the New England Patriots. Burkhead who was a sixth round draft choice of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2013 National Football League Draft out of the University of Nebraska, Burkhead was not able to reach a contract extension to remain with the Bengals at the end of the 2016 football season. Burkhead's role with the Patriots is likely to be playing on their special teams and running back in a reserve role

Rex will enjoy playing for the New England Patriots since he will learn how to play the Patriot Way.
