Here is a question for all the cats

When the dinner dish is filled and placed on the floor, what do you do? I make big fuss to get it and then walk away. Sometimes it works to get a second dish so I have two. I like to spread my food around a bit so my Human puts it on a tray. My favourite game qith the tray is to get the food off it. I think it most important to show I am in charge of the kitchen. Love from Freya, the Catblog Catx.

Meow from Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger! When my mama was complaining that I ate like a teenage boy, she got in the habit of spreading my food around on my ottoman because she thought it would slow me down. Now that what goes down doesn't usually come back up, she's gotten lazy and puts most of my food in a bowl. Yes, the bowl is on the ottoman, but how will I keep from starving if my ottoman is empty? Humans can be so hard to manage. Love, Huckleberry whose rear end is not as big as my mama would have you believe

The lady of the house does not like me yet. I have seen her playing with the neighbour's cat before I walked into her life. She has a video playing with that cat. But she has still not accepted me. Every time she sees me she chases me. Her folks have to put her inside when I am fed. I do not meow and that could be the reason. I get a small plate of milk in the morning and a good meal in the afternoon. I do not speak nor make any fuss. After all I do not belong to them. Bye for now Cat that does not meow.

Even if you buy some really expensive name brand in a very attractive sounding combination of flavours, I will always seem to get more enjoyment from something old and disgusting that I have found in the garden. The same applies with my water. You can pour it fresh from the tap into a clean bowl but I much prefer to drink from the birdbath, lick drops of rain from the top of the fence or, if I am indoors, take a swig from the toilet. It's just what we do. Love, Ollie.

Dear Freya. It's Mildred. I think our parents realize we're in charge! I'm usually read and waiting at my bowl when my mom feeds me. I do give her a quick ankle rub just to make her happy and keep her fulfilling my needs.

@Jackalyn I admit, it is very hard sometimes to figure humans out. We just have to keep at it until our needs are properly met.

I look at it, look up at her, explain that it needs something else shaken on top, get something else shaken on top, and then gobble it all up, often so quickly that I just throw it all up again. {Qyzen} I just eat it. Human could put anything in my bowl and I'd just tuck in. Then I head over to Qyzen's bowl so I can mop up any leftovers. {Dora, the slim cat} I pick out the bits of bone-shaped biscuits I don't like and leave them in a pile next to the bowl. {Tabatha's ghost, may she rest in peace}

Hmm. Be careful. You will become a fat Cat with that approach. I know this. Can you believe Human 1 keeps telling me I am porky. I am NOT a pig! Love from Freya the Catblog Cat.
