What Sweet Refrain

I was watching a taped TCM movie. Early Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant. At the end of the movie there was a "TCM Remembers". Many actor friends that had known Robert Osborne down through the years. They said he was compassionate, a good friend, comforting, and real. He was like a gift to them. What a gift to have someone tell you "You are a gift." Photo from Pixabay.

Very sad to know the Turner Classic Movie host passed away. I enjoy movies and watched many movies over the years on that channel. May he rest in peace.

I guess we should tell people this more while they are alive.

@marlina ......Yes, we should. And, in this fast paced world we don't always get that done.

So sweet. Recently I joined up with a movie site under Hallmark called Feelin. It is only 2.99 a month and has sweet movies on there. I am enjoying it. I need to unwind from watching all those dang horror movies. I dont have Netlix anymore.

No more Netflix? I can understand. This one is much less expensive. I will have to check it out. Hallmark does have some nice ones.

I think it's one of the sweetest thing to say to someone. If a man say that to me (with the right expression of course), I'll melt, feeling all warm and fuzzy.

Yes, the label of "gift" regarding a person is special, indeed.

He was special just seeing him on the screen. The way he treated guests and how soft spoken he was.

Very nice thing for someone to say that to you. Problem is there I think that people might think that about you but don´t know how to say it to you in such a way so it gets stuck inside them. Lovely Film though and I adore Katherine Hepburn. She was fabulous in "The Lion In Winter" with Peter O´ Toole.

This movie I was watching was a very early one entitled "Sylvia Scarlett" with Cary Grant made in 1935. They were both real young. "The Lion in Winter" was in 1968.

That is so cool. I think the greatest compliment I ever got was "You're a blessing." Being a gift sounds even better.
