McDonald's made me mad today

So I ordered my meal at McDonald's and after I got home I noticed that my two cheeseburgers had absolutely no meat on them. I then turned around and called and complained big time. She asked if I wanted to go back and I told her no I'll come in tomorrow but make it a free meal. Well, I win. I go in tomorrow morning and get my free meal. She was surprised there was no meat on them. I hope the cooks get in trouble.

I can understand being upset and complaining...but getting mad doesn't help. Have you never made a mistake. I know they aren't supposed to make mistakes...but they are human. They can and will make mistakes.

@carebear29 luckily I have rarely had them make a mistake. I used to do a lot of mystery shops at McDonalds and my order was correct 99% of the time.

Well, from time to time things happen. I got the wrong meal one time from Burger King and did not notice until I was aways from there and had to call and they held a Free meal for me until I could get in that area again. True these places need to be a little more careful on what they are doing.

At least they are going to give you a free meal for the mistake. Its kind of weird that they forgot the actual burgers

In fact I am quite satisfied with the service of McDonald's. They provide you the food in a short time coorectly. I have never had problem with them. I think it is just an accident for you to offer you the burgers without meats. It is a mistake but at least they tried to fix it. So... Forgive them please

That would be very upsetting. It was just the bun and cheese? Maybe they were busy but glad you get your free meal tomorrow.

I am glad they are going to make it right. A cheeseburger without meat isn't much of a burger. lol

Oh boy somebody slipped up big time. I am glad you got a free meal out of the deal. McDonalds, has some major interneral problems these days it seems. I still like them..but visits never run smoothly anymore. Last time I went I couldn't use my app which made me mad.

I'm glad you got a free meal out of it anyway! Once I got a free meal at Olive Garden because my fish was only half cooked. I expected them to just replace the fish, but no, I got a whole free meal, plus I took home half of the delicious garlic broccoli because I couldn't eat two meals' worth. I considered it a good deal that they had made a mistake.
