Did you know your grandparents?

I spent a little time with my grandmother. Not much but enough to know I will remember her. She is a very religious woman. Gave her life to God many moons ago. She is about 79 right now. Living in Miami. I saw her in Sept at the funeral. I never met my grandfather.

I never know my grandmother from my mom's side. She was separated from my mom and aunt while they're toddler. My step-grandmother is nice, though I do feel a bit awkward when talking to her. She's the only one left as both my grandfathers and my grandmother on my dad's side had passed away.

I was best to have three of my grandparents up until my late teens and early twenties. They were wonderful people. I spent a lot of time with them and they really impacted my life. I miss them all dearly. I wish my children could have had the chance to know them.

Yes, my moms parents, I knew very well, they passed about in 1986, and 1988.. My great grandfather passed in 1984.. On my dads side, my grandmother is still alive, I mention her in discussions sometimes she is 100.. I thought she was 98, but no 100... I missed a year or two , when she moved up in age, not sure how that happened. My dad did not know his father, so I do not know my grandfather on my dads side of the family. I remember a lot of good times with my grand parents,it seems so long ago.
