@delhshop AngelaMc isn't saying she reuses the bottles she's saying she saves the bottles and paper and cans etc then they are taken away to a recycling place and turned into new stuff.

We have a separate bin for recycling cardboard boxes, bottles, cans, etc. and it is picked up every week with our garbage.
I don't throw away anything until it is completely used up. If something breaks or wears out I try to use it for another purpose. A pair of ripped pants can be cut up and used for doll clothes, rags to clean with, a pot holder or something else. My motto is "use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without".

@delhshop I think we're not talking about the same exact thing.
We are all talking about stuff you throw away...rubbish/garbage.
You're talking, I think, about reusing old things.

I don't understand what you're saying here. I live in Germany. I don't recycle things myself, the town where I live does. There are containers for glass where we put empty bottles in. Paper is collected in special bins. Electrical gadgets are taken to the local garbage recycling plant, etc.

we have different bins to put different things in.
I put everything possible to recycle in the correct bins and the council takes it away and they do their thing
