Just ONE More Day

One more day and I'm so happy.... One more day and spring will be here. Well maybe not exactly weather wise but certainly on the calendar. We still have mounds of snow of the ground but some of it melted yesterday and I know it will be gone soon. I love the spring when everything starts to bloom and I can sit outside and enjoy my morning coffee on the deck. Not only does spring arrive in one more day but also my new washing machine will be delivered!! That's even more exciting that the arrival of spring. I brought some laundry over to my daughters but she has enough of her own to do. I didn't want to impose either since she is a control freak and insists on doing it for me rather than me just doing it myself while I'm there. I never thought I'd be so happy to be able to do laundry!! Today looks like another quiet day here and I'm certainly not complaining. I've been catching up on the series Parenthood (on Netflix) and it's so good it makes me wonder why I never watched it when it was a prime time series on tv. I'm nearly at the end of season 5 and only have one more season to go before it's over. I'm going to be very disappointed as I've become very attached to the Braverman family. Did you or do you watch Parenthood?

@Marilynda1225 We are just taking a break now...... We put a lot of the heavy tote boxes with china and crystal into the pod a little while ago. We only have 5 stairs off of the front porch, but when your lugging boxes that is a lot! Or am I getting old I packed up a lot of food items from our pantry yesterday and will fill another tote box later this week.

I can imagine how good it is to do laundry if you haven't had a machine for a while.

I'm happy to see the end of winter as well. My flowers froze so I don't think I'll be getting blooming hyacinths this year. Boooo.

I am sure you will be enjoying doing your laundry in your own machine it is always nice when you can do laundry in your own washing machine and not some place else. I have never watched parenthood before.

No, I never watched Parenthood, I am not a fan of TV shows, I watch the TV may be half hour every evening and it's usually a movie that I watch in two passes.

I don't think I've ever heard of that show before. Do you know what years it was on and was it on regular tv? I was watching Grey's Anatomy with my daughter the last few years but never started it back up again after the holidays this year. That's mostly due to our not having cable any longer although I could watch it on my computer. Not sure I want to be pulled into it again at present. Although I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can get outside and get some exercise with my new knee, I can't imagine sitting outside with coffee or otherwise until it's much warmer.

Hi! No, I haven't watched it. Perhaps we will one of these days. I can imagine how happy you will be to get your new washing machine. I hope the snow is long gone by the time we get home. I just love Spring, and can't wait to see the flowers and shrubs bloom.
