Evening Clouds

After seeing the car with the tires on its roof, as I was leaving starbucks, I noticed the sun setting behind a wavy blanket of clouds. It looked peaceful. The light coming through was very dreamy and made everything rich in color.
It was a very cool evening with a wind starting to pick up coming in from the west.
We are scheduled to recieve some lightning and showers tomorrow, or just showers, or maybe neither. One never truly knows down here. Weather wise it felt like a late autumn/early winter type of evening.
I'll see what tomorrow brings. I'm hoping that it rains and fires lightning bolts, just so I can try to capture a photo or two.
Wow! I'm being selfish!

when i moved from the east coast to the southwest,i spent many a night staring at the sky.between the light pollution and plain pollution,i had forgotten you could see clouds at night.it was nice.

Pretty! We had some amazing clouds against the blue-pink sky this evening. Truly glorious, but I failed to capture it for posterity.

It rained here; however, has stopped now. Now the grass and flowers will be growing quickly and will see more flowers.
