Must Recharge My Battery

Well, I did it! After finding more positive reasons to go and walk, I finally pushed myself and did 30 minutes of it.
The first 15 minutes were full of energy, but after that I could feel my body slowing down and way too fast.
I will try again later but right now, I need to recharge my battery and also to prepare lunch.
Hoping that the short rest and the food will get me a "full battery" again.
See you later!

A run around day. My battery will be low by the day is through.

@marlina I've been home for two hours.....I'm totally exhausted. And to think in the great scheme of things I did nothing today.

Good for you, I have been busy on my day off, but none of it involved a walk, I've gone to the mechanics to drop off our SUV, done 2 batches of laundry and packed a bit since I've come back home again.
I hope that your rest gives you the full battery again!

I am pushing myself today to get things done. It's a bit too cold to go for a walk but I did take the dogs out for a short little walk. It's very windy here today

You might have low blood sugar levels. I've written about it here. A piece of fruit or something sweet can help.

@infatuatedbby Unfortunately, we must constantly recharge the battery. NOT easy work.

I am feeling like my batteries are drained today so I understand what you are saying. I hope all is well with you, I haven't seen an article from you in a few days.

@marlina Well not so surprising, the snow that is, here it is just wet and cold.

You are right "@BelleStarr, I haven't been in the mood lately to "make my brain work". I hope it gets "with the program soon".
Let's hope that your batteries will fully charge today.
Believe it or not, it is snowing right now, what a bummer.

I think walking is the best form of exercise . It also helps control my blood sugar.

I have pondered a step counter and a goal to increase steps by a few each day

Maybe it would be better to walk a a moderate pace through the whole walk rather than push yourself and then have a hard time to finish. I'm hoping to go to planet fitness after my husband gets out of work tonight. I'm only going for about twenty minutes, but my physical therapy is on hold until the insurance agrees to continue paying for more sessions. Therefore, I need to do more until it starts back up again.
Plus, I've been paying each month to continue my membership, but I've not been for one month already.

@marlina I'm hoping to get a small walk in later this afternoon with a friend. I've not walked much since my surgery other than last Wednesday when we got some groceries. We were able to get it done within an hour's time and I walked behind the cart the whole way. That was refreshing. Yes, my leg hurt a bit that night, but I'd been wanting to get a good walk in and that sufficed and fit the bill.
I now have a newer old vehicle and can drive over to a friend's house. We may walk later today in her neighborhood. If that doesn't work out we could go tomorrow or Friday but may have to drive to the mall or another store and walk there as we could be getting a rain/snow mix tomorrow.

I walked the big grocery store and Tractor Supply and another - the most walking I've done in months. I know, walking thru a store doesn't count.
