Vaporizers, Vaping, and Those Who Vape.

I have to say this trend fascinates me. Stores selling vaporizers and their accessories are popping up everywhere. I've purchased a few over time and now have one nearby that I really enjoy. I know there are people out there who mock and criticize, but I am quite amazed by this trend as it is such a free-market success story. For ages, smokers loved smoking knowing full well it was driving them to an early grave. Many like to accuse smokers of merely being nicotine addicts but this was never an accurate thought. Smoking relieved stress and reduced anxiety, brought people together and, with certain things like pipes and cigars, could be pretentious and a lot of fun. But again, they're horrible and deadly. So, a handful of people out there somewhere gave this some thought and invented something that gave all the pleasures of smoking without all the death-inducing chemicals and carcinogens. After all, people enjoyed smoking for the nicotine but it was all the other chemicals in tobacco that were the culprit. With Vaporizers, the carcinogens are gone, replaced by a nearly neutral propolene glycol and vegetable glycerins (as I understand it; I haven't done but a little bit of homework). One can add some nicotine, but in low doses that is not a problem. I'm glad they got away from expecting vaporizers to look like electronic cigarettes, although there are still some out there. Today they're neat-looking electronic devices with numerous features. I see the Vaporizer as one of today's exquisite success stories of the free market. People wanted to smoke without the smoking death spiral and the market found a way to provide this.

I vape.. I have a dripper and a mod and I bunch of flavors that I love.. I did stop smoking for a long time and then I picked them back up but I'm working on putting them down for good this time and just sticking to my vape.

I don't think vaping is safe, but I personally know a couple of people who were smokers and vaping allowed them to quit, all in all, it is probably a bit better.

@RJamesDryer Well far safer is probably a overstatement. Some say it causes a certain type of lung disease from inhaling. I used to write articles about vaping. You could not use the word "safe" when it came to vaping.

I am not a smoker and have never smoked. But I am also fascinated by the vaping fad. I think if it helps people stop smoking then its is great. But I have seen many who vape and still smoke as well. I find the whole mindset quite interesting.

I've seen people do both, vape and smoke. I suppose they're still on the fence. Smoking can be a tough thing to give up, but if one truly desires it, the vaping can help.
