Stressful day at work!

I am thankful it is over. I am getting ready to head home from work. I have an hour to get ready before I have to head to the concert this evening. I have to take a quick shower and then try to find something to wear. I think I will wait to eat when we get home. I just won't have time to prepare anything. I will be rushing around.
I am looking forward to seeing Destinee perform this evening. She always makes me so proud and I can't help but tear up when I watch her on that big stage. I am so happy that she is feeling better. I usually get her flowers but I got her a Ty Beanie this time. She loves them and I know it will make her feel better.
So what has everybody else got planned this evening?

I'm sure that you'll have fun, I'll be thinking of you.
An old friend of mine, that works with me, is taking me out for supper tonight.
She has to work until 6pm, and there is a Kelsey's restaurant beside our workplace, so I will meet her there for 6.
It will be nice to chat and catch up before I leave.
We have both supported each other while our sons were growing up and going thru all of the phases that they do when in high school, and then off to university, we've been there for each other for the deaths of our Dads, and a few good times too-I don't mean to make it sound like we don't have our fair share of laughs too! We do.

@Happy2BeMe Thanks, we did. Her and I used to cross the border and go into the states to shop for the day, we've had so many fun adventures.

She did great evening though she want feeling great. She was happy to be able to perform. They were awesome.

@Happy2BeMe ugh, no.. I want some time off from all these activities.. but the youngest isn't one of the busier kids so I try not to say no to things he wants to do. I imagine it's hard on him being dragged to all of his older siblings activities..

@katsmeow1213 Yes it probably would be and I can see how you would want a brake from it. that is a lot of running around. It was the same when my children were growing up and now I miss that. Now it seems I have too much time on my hands.

She did a great job even though she wasn't feeling real good. By the time it was over she was ready to go home and lay down.
