When to pray and when to cross your fingers.

Today, at wee hours in the morning (I was watching a Castle rerun), I recieved a phone call from the man who took my dining room chairs to upholster them. He said that he had them ready and could he come at 10 AM to bring them to me. I asked all the stupid questions one can ask. Did he do a good job? Are they fine? I know that I´ll know when he comes here with the chairs. He´ll come at 11 because Leticia and I will be having breakfast at 10. After I hung up I thought that you can pray or send good vibes when you want something good to happen to people. But with a chair, you just have to cross your fingers My chairs could have lasted a lot more if my legs were not in such a bad shape. the fabric was as good as new. But the coils were not as good and I could feel the front wooden frame of the chairs. I hope that changes now. It costed me a lot more to have all the inside changed. The man will also bring some wooden legs to put in my living room sofas. They are too low and my knees don´t help much when it is time to get up. I´m keeping my fingers crossed until they hurt.
