A Week Late...But that's OK

I hoped for one earlier this month...but good things come to all who wait. This is so cute, I love it. It's also a very nice mug, bone china from England. I found it, of course at the Salvation Army thrift store for just ninety nine cents! No tax and it's in perfect condition, looks brand new. Tis happy I am.

@abhinalstrikr Last week was St. Patrick's Day. I had to do with a mug that contained green but was not a special one.

Thanks! It's so silly, but my morning mug is very important to me and I love holiday mugs. I had wanted to have it for the special day, which was last week, but I am just happy to have had it and enjoyed a cup 'o coffee in an Irish mug during the month of March!

Yes, and it has all the symbols of Ireland on it! Shamrocks, St. Patrick himself, a rainbow, the Irish harp, a traditional cottage and the flag of Ireland.

As a matter of fact, my sister is traveling in Ireland, she landed yesterday. So I will use this cup to share a bit of Irish love with her each morning she is there. Then I will put it away so it will be fresh for next year (God willing).

My sister is in Ireland right now so I'm celebrating and thinking of her as I used it until March was over. I've moved on now because I found an Easter cup! I'll post about it soon.

I am so happy too, that when I made my coffee in the Keurig, It held the right amount. I can make a small, med or large cup from the pod and I always make a large. It's sad when the large amount fill the cup to the brim or spills over when the cup is too small. I need room for my half & half and the a bit of room so it doesn't spill when I carry it to my chair. Little details, yes, but when repeated daily if it isn't right I won't use a cup that is too small unless it's important to do so (like on the actual holiday). Anyway....LOOOOOng story short....(too late)...The cup holds the full amount with room to spare for my creamer and them more room! (big sigh of relief).

@LeaPea2417 I have been to several since I found this one and did actually find one just with shamrocks on it. There was a small chip in the lip and it was small, but I would have bought it prior to St Paddy's Day but I passed on it because I no longer had to have one. But if I found a really good one, I would get another.
