Heading to NYC / myLot

Good morning myLot. Hope everyone's day is off to a great start. It is warm but cloudy here at the Jersey Shore with a current temperature of 62 degrees F. My husband and I are in the car and headed north to a train station about 45 minutes away from our house. We'll catch the train into Manhattan from there. Our destination is the American Museum of Natural History. We'll spend several hours there checking everything out. Then we have dinner reservations at Lupa which I am very excited about. I haven't been to the city in years so it will be nice to visit and just to do something different for a change. What's everyone else up to today?

That sounds really fun. Have you ever been to this museum and restaurant before? I love going to new places.

@NJChicaa That is nice that you are going back to the museum then. I bet there will be some things you see that are still there and then many new additions as well. Hope you have a great time.

To be honest, today is probably going to be eventless for me, as I'm not doing much on this day. Later on, I'm headed to a diner that offers double cheeseburgers on the menu. These double burgers are a lot bigger than the double cheeseburgers that they have at McDonalds. NJ, I hope you enjoy going to NYC today. The last time I was in NYC was way back in 2011.

It rained here all day so I enjoyed a day of rest. Finished a book I was reading. I'll begin another one later this evening. How I envy your day in the city! I used to love going to NYC as often as I could. How I'd love to go and see a show or two!
