Sleeping With Sloths

This article that I read was one I definitely had to relate to you. First of all you can see in the picture what I am referring to. Sloths are mammals that live in trees and some have to toes and others three. It is all happening in Rainier, Oregon at the Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center. The center is dedicated to rescuing sloths. They now have a special program for sloth lovers in which they can participate and have a sleepover with sloths. Once you sign up you can hang out with the sloths in their colony habitats. What will it cost you? Just a mere $600 and you get a double-occupancy booking slot where you can observe and interact with the animals from 8 PM to 7:30 AM. I wonder if that includes breakfast and coffee with the sloths. You can decide to sleep or not but a cot is provided and you can watch TV. Apparently sloths are sensitive to noise so keep the TV sound low and don’t attempt to laugh too loudly depending on what the sloths are up to. It says that you cannot hold the sloths but you can observe them up close. Here I wonder what happens if the sloth you are currently viewing wants to hug you. This program happens to be most popular from mid-June to early September. The rest of the time when people no longer travel as much due to season change and the weather they book on Saturdays and holidays. An interesting thing is you might sign up and not sleep all night but the sloths require 15 – 18 hours of sleep per day. Those who aren’t interested in sleeping over can book for a “feed and pet” educational happening with the sloths for a bargain price of $100 per person. All sloths are welcome here and all sloth fans as well. Would you enjoy having an overnight outing with sloths? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/sloth-sleepover-program-oregon_us_58d2a162e4b0f838c62e8b0f

Sloths, not as slow as they walk easy, by all accounts. Loved the sloths in Zootopia, the animated film.

Thinking about the same scene with Flash, the so-called fastest sloth in Zootopia.

If I earn that much here, I'll use it for this sleeping-with-the-sloth project.

Much as I love most animals I wouldn't want to be hugged by something with claws like that.

O my GOD. ! Never, i would never sleep or stay with one even if they pay me for that. Why it's done? What's the reason?

@ShifaLk Oh yes, they do look scary but if there are people willing to spend so much money to be with them and to help them then I am glad for these animals.
