I am a 5th cousin of Pretty Little Liars Actress Lucy Hale!!
Her mother is Julie Caperton Hale, her Grandfather Donald Caperton, her Great Grandfather John Donaldson Caperton, her Great Great Grandmother is Mattie Monema Edmundson, her Great Great Great Grandfather is Robert Lefeyette Edmundson, her Great Great Great Great Grandfather is Allen Edmundson
My mother is Reta Ellen Smith, my Grandma is Ellen Audie Smith, my Great Grandfather is Leo Glen Smith, my Great Great Grandmother is Allie Dee Gibson-Smith, My Great Great Great Grandmother is Sardinia Edmundson, My Great Great Great Great Grandfather is also Allen Edmundson
There is this page that has links to famous people's family trees and you can compare them to your own, one of which was Lucy Hale's mothers family tree.
This was the first celebrity relation i've ever 100% confirmed
the only other relation is only through marriage so i can't really count it, but it is much closer, the actress Jessica Chastain is the granddaughter of Gary Chastain, whom happens to be married to my mom's first cousin Sherian.

Nope never met her and she does not know me, although i keep praying she does Who Do You Think You Are Genealogy show because i am sur ethe researchers on the show would come across my family tree for are Edmundson family which is very well researched.

@chrissbergstrom My cousin researches and found over 50,000 relatives in our family tree. That is a lot of work do all of the research to do a family tree.

This is pretty cool. As far as we have found I am related to the first person to ever put in a railroad spike but no one famous like that. I do know someone who is a distant cousin to Willie Nelson though.

You just have to research alot I got lucky and when researching a certain ancestor I came across a tree and searched it and sure enough it was a DNA match to and this account linked to a celebrity family tree page.

I think if you were to follow the lines...many us have famous people connected to our family tree. Mine is more historical and I'm not sure exactly where the connection is. Let's just say it's an artist and I'll keep you guessing.
