Another Survivor Of My Non Green Thumb!

My possible A Delicious Monster

Once again, I read about gorgeous rose gardens and other floral beauties with pretty pics, and uh, yeah, here is the only other plant that survives the fact that I don't have a green thumb! This plant is actually in my supposed garden and not in a pot on top of the wall around it. I have been told by friends that the name of this plant is A Delicious Monster. Though I really am not certain, I say to all the garden fundi's out there. So please don't be too harsh if I have its name all wrong! But it figures that the only things to survive me is a desert plant (cactus) and then one with the name Monster in its name!  I will just keep telling it how pretty it is, and hope it keeps surviving for me. Do you talk to plants? Photo is of possible Delicious Monster in my garden

That plant looks so healthy and beautiful! It reminds me of a plant we saw in the very north of Scotland called a devil plant. Each leaf was the size of my body!. When I talk to my plants, I ask them to live for me. Ha ha!

@bluesa Sometimes I had time to rescue them. There are times she gets it home for me to fix it and then take another plants for replacement and the cycle would begin again.

@bluesa What is important is that whatever we plant there must be health and I see your 'tree' healthy.

Yes I do sometimes only a little bit. I planted some Arborvitae Trees you know sort of like Pine Trees and they are surviving some more than others. My Almond Tree has sprouted again but does not look half as good as your plant. From me another who has not got green fingers at all.

It's a pity we struggle so to succeed with nature. I am happy your almond tree is doing well though :)

Yes, it does block out light on the one side, luckily the sun slants in on the other. I can only thank nature that it is healthy @jaboUK , we got a lot of rain this Summer

I talk to plants, but...that is probably to be expected from me;). Well, once I transplanted a dying tree, and...I severed the roots pretty badly, and I thought it would die. I would walk up to it everyday and bless it (yes, I bless even trees), and...it survived and is still here:).

@HebrewGreekStudies , yes, I can believe you do bless even trees :) . I am glad the tree survived. I just kinda beg my plants or anything green to not croak on me :) .

@FayeHazel . I forgot my cactus out in the rain for days, but luckily it survived. Maybe we should attempt Zen rock gardens?
