Cardigan update
Hiya everyone, been another busy last few days but I have managed to do more on the cardigan I’m knitting and thought I would give you an idea of how it’s looking in the video I did.
I’m not reached to where to the pockets are going to be and you can also see how the pattern is going.
I hope to get the pockets knitted and in place come the weekend, hopefully before then, but that depends on many things between now and then.

@MALUSE Yes I do, however I'm from the middle of the country, lived in the midlands for 40+ years before moving first to the USA then back to the UK and in the south-west part of the UK now.

@kevin1877uk I guess so. My daughter picked it up right away. I didn't and still don't. I was 12 when I took my lesson's. My daughter was 19 when she learned from a friend. I am 55 and still don't get it.

I watched your video of the cardigan update. It is beautiful. I love cablework.

@kevin1877uk I guess I'm just lazy. I like to knit while watching television so I prefer to do patterns that don't require me to look at what I'm doing.

Your handwork is so exceptional. I have never knitted cables but am told they take little time to learn how to do them.

Thank you, cabling is really easy to do, it does take a little long to knit a row when you are doing the cabling part.

@kevin1877uk I have been told by a few that they will be glad to teach me how to do cables. However, none have stepped up to do that.

The design is lovely and you are doing a great job. I don't know where you are thinking of putting the pockets but I remember one cardigan I had which had one pocket on either side and in which I could comfortable place my hands and I enjoyed walking about with my hands in the pockets of that cardigan.

You are an English man as I have noticed in your British accent. I love the design and I know how to make them. In fact I was making this kind for my sons pullover when he was still a child. Gorgeous colour as well. So, you are one of the men I know who love to knit. Very creative

That certainly is a beautiful cardigan, it looks like an Irish one I bought in Ireland last year, pretty much the same color too.
