What A Surprise

I walked out the front door to go to the the "Y" yesterday for some exercise and was smacked by warmth.
What!!!
I had a fleecy pullover on and a coat on top and by the time I got to my car I was taking the coat off and tossing it on to the seat as I drove to the "Y".
Got there and it was too warm for my fleecy..Now down to my Turtleneck and wishing I had a t-shirt on...
It was warm enough for shorts!
Holy Cow, Spring showed up when i wasn't looking. All the snow is now gone and the blooms above in the photo are decorating my yard.
The white ones, called "Snow Drops" were pushing up through the snow for the last couple of weeks, but yesterday the Yellow Crocus made me very happy.

Wow aren't you lucky. We woke up to 15cms of snow! It is mild but far from warm. Please send that weather this way!!

I was a bit sad today when I went out to go to the Y and it was cold again...but not freezing.

@Happy2BeMe Well, by the time we go camping the weather will be great..we prepare for rain but its not cold in July. Hope spring springs for you very soon...

Yay! Enjoy Spring! You deserve it after a long winter. Here only our nights are reflecting a sort of Autumn @PainsOnSlate . The flowers are beauties!

@DianneN Mine are blooming now too in grand groups and we woke up covered in snow this morning. Its almost sun set and most of the snow is gone..

@PainsOnSlate Oh, no! We got home yesterday from FL. I saw yellow flowers in my yard. I guess I missed the crocuses, and will apparently never see them again.

I love when the flowers start blooming. I love being able to go to town for walks in the sunshine. I wear layers because as I walk I get very hot. I start out with a hoody then take that off and have my t-shirt then I take that off and have my tanktop.

That is the only crocus that bloomed but I have hundreds to look forward to..still a bit to cold for the bloomers.

isn't it funny how spring does that? one day it's cold, the next day you are surprised by warmth. I belong to our local Y as well.

I love the Y, it makes it so easy to exercise. After I posted this photo it snowed and then rained, I think even though its a bit cold still, spring is very near.
