My Uncle get admitted due to food poison. He is a sugar patient and love to eat less rices and wheat but more salads and vegetables. We get vegetables from our local vendors, which is cultivated locally. But last time when he bought the vegetables that is gram is affected with pesticides. Some of the profit lovers pour more pesticides to get the good cultivation and totally ignore the human values . Uncle washed and prepared the gram but the next day he starts to omitting and fells fatigue. He suddenly seeks medical help and admitted. It needs three days to recover his normal health condition. It really bad to work for profit only.

Yes it is obviously very harmful for health, but some profit loving farmers make it for right cultivation.

That is terrible. I have never heard of food poisoning from eating food with pesticides sprayed on it. Food poisoning is usually due to bacteria getting on the food.. like cutting raw meat on a cutting board then not killing all the germs well enough before cutting up salad on it etc.

@shshiju No I never do as it is more costly to buy organic. I have never gotten food poisoning from this. The one time I did get it I got it from macaroni salad I bought at a deli.

We make every effort not to get food with bug spray, yet some criticize us for being too fussy. These are poisons, as you mention here and should be illegal. However, in the USA, many pesticides are legal @shshiju It is horrible to realize that greed controls the food industry.

some plants should be cultivated organically; no pesticide, and the flavor is wonderful especially if fresh.

@shshiju well, maybe their distant relatives would buy their produce laden with insecticides, so let karma get its own way

It is concerning what chemicals they spray fresh produce these days ...Organically grown are expensive.. It's really better to grown our own if we could ..

It is true that certified organically grown is expensive. If we can time it is better to cultivate at least our own vegetables.
