Shopping, The Park and a Birthday Party

Welp, I had quite the busy weekend, but it was a good weekend all around. :) My best friend texted me to see if I wanted to hang out with her and the baby, which I decided to do since I was having “one of those weeks.” I needed to get out for a bit, ya know? We picked up the baby from daycare and then went to McDonald’s and Walmart. She dropped me off later and I worked on a few writing orders for a while. On Saturday, my best friend texted me to see if I wanted to go to Fort Howard with her and the baby, since it was pretty nice out. I wasn’t planning to go anywhere, but decided to go enjoy the weather. So we went to the park for a bit before stopping by the snowball stand (they got snowballs, I opted for a milkshake instead). We stopped by the grocery store, and then she dropped me off. I took a nap, got online and basically just lounged. I went to my nephew’s birthday party on Sunday, and I had a good time. I played with the little ones, chatted with others and ate the snacks and pizza. I was exhausted when we got home, and I wound up crashing on the couch with the dogs lol. I didn’t do much else that evening, just lounged, got online and eventually went to bed. All in all, I would say I had a good weekend, and I’m glad this week in general has been better than last week. :) I’m gonna skip the Gratitude Challenge tonight, and I may pick a day to skip posting altogether so I can read and interact. I really fell behind, but the bad Internet connection last week and busy weekend didn’t really help. Anywho, you all have a good night -or morning- and take care. Photo Credit: Pixabay.
