Do you find that your kitty makes himself comfortable on top of you, just as you were about to get up and do something? I have coffee in the kitchen and need a folder so I can finish a report..but kitty decided to take just that time, to plunk himself down and relax on me.. Sorry, Kitty we are both gonna have to move!

They simply adore a warm lap well at least the friendly and sociable ones do. Some that are skittish and shy away from people.

@snowy22315 So true, my neighbor has two kittens, the black one comes inside as soon as I open the door, her little brother runs away to hide under their car.

@LadyDuck Yeah, mine hates when a truck pulls up in the driveway. He will always head for the hills or in this case under the bed!

Haha, my dog is like. She is like moving a brick wall when she gets on you and lays down and she only weighs about 8 pounds. lol. I am beginning to think she thinks I was made to sit and hold her all the time.

Alot of them get that attitude. My sister's cat isn't happy unless it is being held. I told my sister..she needs to get one of those snuggle sacks you use for a baby and walk around with the cat in it.

Nope. My cat will sit with my mom, my brother, and my boyfriend, but not with me. I think he senses the fear. As my father made me scared of animals as a little girl. By throwing a kitten we had back then as a football with his cousins. And it then went in my crib while i slept and then it attacked when i woke up to play with it.

How unfortunate. Cats are lively little animals.

Didn't you know that you exist for your cat's pleasure?
