Teacher's Negative Statements

Indeed, teacher characteristics affects student achievements. Do you think a teacher’s negative statements could also push her student to exert much effect to pass the subject?

As a teacher, I don't believe saying negative things to or about a student encourages them at all.

I believe teachers must always encourage their students to perform better. Negative statements have negative effect.
