Did you know that parts of California(the sixth largest economy in the world)wants to secede from the US? And, that the head of this movement, Louis Marinelli, lives in Russia? In Siberia? Check it out on Snopes. It's called The Embassy of the Independent Republic of California.

He is teaching English, evidently, his wife is Russian but it is a stupid idea, keep the Civil War in mind, the US does not let states leave the union.

the head of the movement lives in russia? O.o. That's odd. Just odd that he isn't living here, yet cares about Cali THAT much. I care about where I came from too, but not to that kind of extent.
