It's Friday Eve!!

Hello everybody! Back for another day of mylotting and chatting with friends. I always enjoy my time here. Today the sun is actually shining which is awesome because we haven't seen it in quite a few days. Once again the snow is melting away. Hopefully for the last time! 
My grand daughter had a lot of fun performing at the basketball game yesterday evening. She was really tried though because she had a long day. She leaves for school at 7:45am. Yesterday they went on a field trip. As soon as she got to school they boarded the bus and headed to the Sugar Shack which is about an hour drive away. The Sugar Shack is a place where they make maple syrup. They spent the whole day there. They even got to sample and bring money a few treats.
They got back to school just to time for her to go to her music program. When she got there they boarded another bus and went to the venue to practice. They practiced for a few hours before their performance. She said before the Half time she was falling asleep in her seat. Her instructor gave a piece of chocolate for energy.
They did the halftime show and during the game they had their pizza. Our team even won which was great. She didn't stay to meet the players after the game because it was already late. She got home at 9:30pm. She went straight to bed and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the the pillow.
We picked her up at 8 am this morning to drive her to school. They dropped me off at work and then my fiance took her out for breakfast before she headed back to school. All is all she had a lot of fun and it is something she will always remember.

It was a great day for her. They have no school tomorrow so she is happy about that so she can get rested up. Happy day to you too.

That was a long day for your granddaughter but a lot of interesting experiences. It's also a sunny day here but they have predicted some snow for tomorrow and Saturday. But the weather is getting tolerable.

After surviving a severe thunderstorm on Thursday in the Lake Charles area, I am glad to see the sun back on Friday before another storm is scheduled to come either on Saturday night or Sunday.

That's awesome when they win, so exciting, my son was in sports as well, mostly track. Talk about long meets, they usually went around 5 or 6 hours, It thundering and we had rain all night and still this morning as well. Oh well it's spring.
