Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator and Avengers Assemble director Josh Whedon is the planning stages of writing, producing and directing a movie for Warner Brothers Studios the D C heroine Batgirl. Batgirl will be the second female lead solo motion picture after actress Gal Gadot will star in the Wonder Woman movie that is going to be in theaters in June of 2017. Batgirl will be the New 52 version in the upcoming motion picture that hopefully barring any setbacks will in the theaters in 2018. The actress who will be playing Batgirl as yet to be announced. Hopefully this actress that will play Batgirl will make me forget Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl in the 1997 movie "Batman And Robin."

Well, I haven't really liked his political attitudes, but I love Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, so... I'm going to give this movie a chance.

The Batgirl character will be the New 52 version. It should be good for today's audiences.

@TheInvisibleMan I do remember the Batman shows with Barbara Gordon on the Batman cartoon series that was voiced by the late Jane Webb as Batgirl's voice.
