Our Buddy, Patsie
Patsie, Patsie, this I'll tell
about you, things I know right well:
Up first thing most every day
for lots of work and lots of play
to do while feasting, time to time
on pink potatoes with lemon-lime.
Hits that keyboard with a pinkie,
bites an onion - really stinky.
Paints a picture, pure delight,
colored nicely - quite a sight.
Time to eat once more for supper,
After that, a picker-upper.
Patsie, Patsie, time for bed.
You played, you worked, and you were fed.
Tonight your mind sees sweet ice cream,
and fruit a-plenty in each dream.
Tomorrow's yet another day
for more fun work, but mostly play.
Sleep well good friend, Patsie ( @hatley )
(From Gus and the rest of the gang)

@Ceerios
I have just mentioned it to her on another response I was making you see and so now she must have seen it I think.
Yes I did like that.
I like to write ones like that too but I have to be inspired.

@lovinangelsinstead21 - It is possible that Ms Patsie is unhappy about her little poem because I was poking a little fun at her mentions of the meals served where she lives. But, anyway, thanks for mentioning the thing to Patsie. -Gus-

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - I was eating a cookie yesterday and got to thinking about Ms Patsie and her often-mentioned food discussions. Made me smile. -Gus-

@Ceerios your discussions are a good read always. Have you published the book of fables?

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - In answer to your very kind question, I have not published a book of fables. However, I am now working on a small book derived from blogs, such as the one here on MyLot to which I have contributed. I made up a new word for its title ( a title akin to dumb poems, often called doggerel ). The title will thus be "bloggerel" which would relate to "dumb blogs." -Gus-

@KrauseHome - Ms Patsie works really hard to make the rest of us smile. Makes me wish that I had a similar dedication to the rest of the Mill Otter (MyLotter) gang. -Gus-

@Marilynda1225 - Probably I will enjoy things more if Ms Patsie gets that kick rather than me getting a kick. -Gus-

@hereandthere - Hope is eternal, as is said, but Ms Patsie ( @Hatley ) is not known to miss a thing. -Gus-
