Last night, around 10 pm we had a thunder storm and heavy rain for a small period of time. My son was home from college and asleep on the living room couch. When he awoke an hour or so later. I asked him if he heard the storm earlier. He said no and I said, "wow, you sure were out to not hear it". Because he had taken such a late nap, he was up in the wee hours of the morning working on some college papers. He again fell asleep. This morning, he asked me if I had heard the loud crash of thunder around 3 am. I said no and he said "wow, how could you have not, it was loud". I said, I was so tired, that I slept through it. That was a total opposite of how I was the night before last when I couldn't sleep.

Well the good news is when you are deep asleep nothing disturbs you.

You had more than we had - one clap at 5:20 this morning was it for us.

You must have slept very heavily after your sleepless night. Thunder would have woken me.

Thunder usually awakens me, but since I was so tired last night, I slept right through it.
