March really did go out like a lamb this year in Britain. Now April the month of showers is here. Later on there will be many pranks played as it's April Fools Day today. I will not be playing any jokes on friends and family. They all know me too well for that. I have included a video from YouTube showing how the day became to be the most light hearted day of the year. There are many giving ideas for pranks if you want to take part. I hope those of you in different time zones have a pleasant end to March. Off to my bed now. Sweet dreams.

Good night. I don't participate in April Fools Day. I can't fool people as I don't want to be fooled.

I've pulled off a few good pranks but usually don't participate. I love to hear about them though.

Yes and it's now 5PM so any prank wouldn't be counted.

Hmm I did not know there was a cut off time to the pranks. It is only 2:19 here so a few hours more to go but I think most people would do them all day here and since it is a Saturday I can imagine the bars being full of pranksters later.

@shaggin I'm not sure where the noon cut off point came in to it or whether it's just a British thing. May be @arthurchappell would know.

I've never been a fan of April Fool's Day. My husband was a great practical joker in college, but my roommate and I liked to avoid that sort of activity and we chose to live near the end of the hall on our dorm floor to keep away from the action. I think some people go too far.

I would only joke with someone I knew would laugh at it. Yes some people can go too far and cause offence.

Nobody has played pranks to me until now and it's already 2:30 in the afternoon. I have to suppose that also all my friends have grown up.

It's supposed to be up to noon. Nobody pranked me. I told my husband that blossom had opened on ou Cherry Blossom tree this morning. It doesn't normally bloom until mid April. He didn't believe me and would look. It had started to blossom.

I hate April fool's day pranks to be honest. I only did one once when I was in high school. I saw lots of brands on Facebook posting fake posts. Of course there is always the fake pregnancy posts as well.

The fake pregnancy posts are in poor taste if they are made about other people. Sorry this is late I lost internet access.

@Gillygirl Mine has been acting up at night after 7 pm it goes out for about 30 seconds ever 5 minutes. It's really annoying. A guy came and looked at it today and gave me some advice and I am hoping the one thing he did will help. It is almost that time again so I will see if what he did worked or if I will have to give him a call.

@shaggin I hope you get it sorted out. My cable TV keeps losing a signal and I can't access Netflix at all. I have an engineer coming round tomorrow.

It has been the best season weatherwise in South Florida. Glad April 1st is over with no pranks. I don't like them.

@DianneN Pranks are silly. One of our newspapers ran a world exclusive about Prince Harry marrying in Las Vegas last week. The photo didn't look like him.
