New Day, New Month

April. What does that mean to most people? Perhaps spring, as buds start appearing on trees and flowers start shooting up through what was frozen ground. Warmer weather.
Or perhaps it means colder weather, a look to fall colors, less sunshine, the crunch of leaves under foot, frost on grass and plants, harvest.
Whether springtime or fall, April brings with it a sense of oneness as temperatures around the globe are much the same. In the northern hemisphere we are coming out of the darkness of winter, when the earth rejuvenated to get ready for new life. In the southern hemisphere we are coming out of summer and getting ready for the earth to go into hibernation to rejuvenate so it can bring forth more abundantly.
Whether spring or fall, it is a time of beauty as God brings forth his best for the earth. Spring and fall rain prepare the earth for the next cycle of life.
It is also a new month. The fourth month of the year. Plans are being made for birthday parties, graduation parties, all kinds of celebrations important in a person's life. You will rejoice at the birth of new children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and you might experience the death of loved ones.
Whatever April brings to you, enjoy it to the fullest. It is a gift from God to be enjoyed every day, every moment. Take a walk, enjoy nature, see what God is doing today and every day.

@fishtiger58 Winter was a huge mixture of cold and warm, snow and rain. I've never seen a winter like it. At least not that I can recall.

Happy April to you! I cannot believe how time is flying and we are already here in April. Today seems to be a clear spring day (maybe summer, not sure as I have not gone outside yet). It's a very busy month (as any other month for us) but hopefully the weather is on our side for now.

The months are passing by quickly! I am very glad March is over though. Every day is one day closer to the warm weather of summer. I do not like the cold. I have not been here the past few days as much as the internet keeps going out after 7 pm. I am trying to make do with it tonight.

It means time to flip the calendar over! Time to update the checkbook. Time to plant the garden. Time to start thinking about opening the pool next month.

To me it means the coming of spring and a personal very hard time happened at this time of year. :-( Thank you for the reminder though. Our days are a gift from God even if we struggle with what time of year it is

I think it will be a wonderful month. I have two birthday's, Easter, and my spiritual birthday this month. I'll be 37 years old in the Lord.

Spring has definitely arrived in the UK the trees are full of blossom and the days are getting lighter in the evening which is great. Happy April to you. It will soon be Easter!

Yes it will, but a birthday first - my grandson turns 20 tomorrow. At least I think he's 20.
