The Mississippi Lady Bulldogs pulled off one of the greatest upsets in the history of women's college basketball on Friday evening when they defeated the Connecticut Lady Huskies 66-64 in overtime in what is being considered one of the greatest game in college basketball history. The Lady Huskies streak of 111 straight wins in the regular and tournament play came to an end in the semi game of the 2017 Final Four Women's Basketball Tournament that was played in Dallas Texas on Friday night. Connecticut basketball coach Geno Auriemma will be denied his chance to coach the Huskies to a fifth straight basketball championship on Sunday evening. Lesson to be taught to those ESPN darlings that can learned is the famous saying "Success is not forever and failure is not fatal." Mississippi State will take on South Carolina on Sunday evening in Dallas Texas in what is being billed as a Southeastern Conference (SEC) title game between Mississippi State versus South Carolina with the South Carolina team beating Mississippi State twice during the 2016-17 college basketball season. Another old saying is "You Can't Win Them All." All I can say to Huskies fans is that your team earned a dignity in defeat they seldom achieved in victory.
