Sad morning

Good morning my Lot. It is sunny and warm here at the Jersey Shore. Unfortunately, it is a dark day for many of us as we woke up to awful news. A friend of ours was killed last night in a car crash. He was well-known in this area as he was a bartender in popular bars over on the island for decades. My husband and I actually had just seen him yesterday as he was on his way to go out with his friends. That makes this all the more surreal.
We are going to work in the yard this morning. Then we will probably go out for lunch. The friend who passed worked at the place we always go to so we will likely get more news of what happened once we get there.
What's everyone else up to today?

Today I am probably just going to work on my lot, read and I think that one of my granddaughter's is coming over to visit my mother.

So sorry to read this here this morning. My heart breaks for all of you. So very sad and tragic. So sorry for your loss.

Wow. How tragic. At least you got to see him one last time. Kind of makes the stuff on here, people whining about their lives, seem kind of petty.
