Electronics are odd

I have an older ipod shuffle that I thought I might try to sell on Letgo. I hadn't plugged it in for years, I thought well I better make sure it works before I post it. I plugged into into the computer no charge, I thought well the battery is low on this computer let me try another one. I was rewarded with the light..and it showed it was charging. I checked it awhile later, and no light..I guess I will try plugging in that puter and see if it lights up again. I feel like it is playing with me.
