Not much importance is given to jack fruits seeds in places where jack fruits grow abundantly and our own household is no exception. We as children did like to roast them in open fire and they taste great. It is only now thanks to the internet that I know the great health properties jackfruit seeds have. We have jackfruit trees in our compound and I am now looking at jack fruit seeds in the new light There are several links that talk about the health properties of jack fruit seeds and here is one http://www.healthydietbase.com/the-surprising-beauty-and-health-benefits-of-jackfruit-seeds/

My mom would have loved it but I sure don't want it. Because I'm forbidden to eat seeds.

I have seen these posts online recently myself. We do not grow jackfruit in the US. I would like to try it, and the kernels.
