Here are my first seedlings getting started. Shasta daisies. One tray will be white daisies and one tray will be yellow daisies. I also potted some creeping phlox and some lithodora Saturday. I will post more photos later. I have lots of different seeds to get started. Do you enjoy planting seeds and watching them grow?

These will all look lovely once they are blooming. I'm sure you're keen to see some colour in your garden.

I wish I could figure out how to keep the photos right side up. It's so frustrating. I'm taking the photos with my iPad and I've held it in different positions and the photos always come out wrong. Yes, I love my flowers. I planted several more pots full today. I will be taking more photos and posting them when the sprout and when they bloom.

@IreneVincent It's a shame about the photos. It seems those taken with iPads often have trouble.

@JudyEv I just don't understand why the photos are upside down. I can't figure it out.

You are in an 'expectation' mode - lots to expect

Yes, I'm hoping to have lots of flowers blooming. Every morning I can't wait to check the progress of my flower pots to see if there are any "babies" peeking through the soil.

I hope I get some seeds to sprout and grow. Sometimes it's frustrating.

I can't grow anything, all the plants in my house are excellent fakes. I do love daisies. Can't wait til you post pics of the flowers.

Years ago I worked at a greenhouse for three summers. I learned a lot about planting flowers and transplanting tiny plants. I really enjoyed it and when the owner made the choice to toss plants that were no longer good enough to sell, I asked permission to take the discarded plants home for my own yard. My yard was admired by many neighbors.

I just threw handfuls of wild flower seeds into the front planter. Some seem to be coming up. Later than last year, I threw in some Californian poppies. I think I did them too early last time as none of them appeared

I have some wild flower seeds that I want to plant along the driveway in the wooded area, but I'm waiting a little longer to do so. I hope they thrive and come up every year. I already have wild violets blooming all over my yard. They are my favorites and they multiply every year, which is OK with me.

I have only planted seeds once and it was for a science fair project, so they were basically born to die. i would love to grow things again if I had more room.

I use my window sill in the kitchen for seedlings and then I put all the bigger pots out on my front porch, so I can keep them watered every evening.

@IreneVincent That works! We don't really have a place for that haha we could put them outside but, there are a lot of stray cats that might either eat them or knock them over.
