Sigh...

If I did not have bad luck, I would have no luck at all.
Was robbed. Snatched purse. All my rent money gone. No gas money. No food money. No light money. No internet money. Hurt shoulder. In pain. I can't talk about it much. Too much emotional and physical pain. Cried all weekend.
Please...not a lot of questions. No one helps unless you are homeless, and/or evicted. If that happens, it will hard to get into another place. Was looking for affordable housing. This has put a damper on things.
Sigh...

I have been in similar situations and it's not easy. It seems that there is no help available for those of us who live paycheck to paycheck and when we lose even a little money it ruins our finances for months, even making us lose our place to live. The only help available is for those who are jobless, illegal residents, homeless, mentally ill, etc. Nothing for normal people just trying to make ends meet.
I hope you feel better soon--physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

How upsetting. I had this happen to me once when I was on the road. Good luck to you.

The home was not that nice. But it was a roof over my head.

I'm sorry to hear that, I have always been scared of something like that happening

In our area there are advocacy groups you can go to. I had a tenant who was three months behind on their rent. I called the local service agency and then I talked to my tenant. I told her...she needed to call them...fill out the paperwork. (I was instructed to give her an written eviction warning to start the process.). She was panic stricken when I intitally spoke to her....later...she gave me a hug....the advocate paid her arrears and after that she was able to manage on her own.
