I am probably the last person on here to read this novel - they recently made a movie out of it also (which I have not seen). Have you read this book? I just finished it last night and it was really good and compelling. Essentially, Nick is one of the lead characters and his wife goes missing. All evidence points to Nick murdering his wife. The story goes back into time and expresses their point of views in life and marraige before things became sour. Trying to write a synopsis without spoilrs is really difficult - lol. This book is page turning qnd definitely worth looking into. Have you read this? And - have you seen the movie? Which do you prefer - the book or movie?

Ahh then I am glad I didnt spoil anything. It defi itely is fiction but feels like a darker type of fiction. And it has plenty of twists and turns.

I haven't read the book and I haven't seen the movie either. Although I have been meaning to get the book and read it. The movie did seem pretty good as well.

@maezee I'll definitely have to get a copy and read it myself. Hopefully, I get to do it soon. I am curious.

Yes! I heard only good things so I finally had to read it. I would suggest it!

I've seen the film but not read the book (although I do to a degree prefer books to films; it's easier to get inside characters' heads). I like things that have a twist you can't see coming, as so often that isn't the case.

@maezee I have thought about getting the book after seeing the film. Unlike The Girl on the Train, where the film put me off reading the book.

There was a twist indeed! I did not expect it to end the way it did. I would suggest the book as well!

I have read the book and seen the movie. Book is superior as the movie cut out some detail and depth.

Yes. In other books and mpvies they seem to change it a lot.
