Coming in at # 4 on my favorite carnivores series is the largest Bear of arctic the Polar Bear. Polar bears are beautiful white in color and, a big male can get about 11 feet tall and, weigh 2 thousand plus pounds, they are also excellent swimmers, capable of swimming miles in search of sea ice to hunt Seals from, they are also able to dive to. I once watched a show, where a mother lead her cubs into the sea and, they had to swim miles to a island to escape another bear. Polar Bears are mostly solitary animals, besides mother and, cubs, but males are known to play fight and, wrestle, especially adolescence, that's how they learn to fight. Another interesting note is Polar Bears can be found in the Arctic circle, Russia, Alaska, Canada and, Norway. Some information verified at Wikipedia, also from watching many great shows about them on animal planet, bbc and, nat geo.
